I am beyond thrilled with this bed! I had been looking at the blue velvet option (so dramatic, I know) but I ordered the FREE fabric swatches and fell in love with the gray option instead. Shipped fast, gigantic! heavy! box, so glad I paid the extra $10 to have it delivered inside the entryway of the house. We just unpacked it there and hauled it up the steps to the bedroom piece by piece. It was packaged so well, each piece was wrapped in a fabric cover so nothing was dirty or snagged. The bed is solidly made. All wood with metal fittings so the screws can't slip from their holes. Very, very happy with the purchase! The attached photos show how the color varies depending on the lighting. In order, the go from 1) just the overhead light, 2) close up of the headboard under the overhead light, 3) same close up but using the flash on my phone, 4) the foot board in natural sunlight. Zuma White Linen is NOT White, but an off-white and NOT linen. Easy to construct for one person in an hour or so. Comes in two boxes. The headboard is adjustable. You WILL need a standard 8" box spring as the supports for the bed sit low inside the frame and a mattress would fall through the single support slat in the center. The slipcover is packaged separately and fits easily over the frame but not great craftsmanship as the inside gusset of the bed skirt should transition around each corner, but it doesn't so ends up looking bad at the corners..
