My mudroom area is small, and this bench is the perfect size. I thought the bench would be heavier (solid wood) but for my space and use, it will work. I ended up repainting the bench with a thick paint (Benjamin Moore - Vapor) which matched the original color perfectly. The bench was packaged very well and came quickly!
