I purchased this pendant in black to replace a flourescent style fixture above the kitchen sink. This is a very pretty fixture and has a nice long cord. The description says it’s a “plug-in” but it is a hardwired fixture. That mistake aside, I recommend this for a hardwired light. It’s light and textural and will add a nice softness to any room. The rattan is lighter and whiter in tone than some pictures indicate. The brass is an aged golden tone and fits well with the fixture. As you can see the white cord will show up if this hangs farther from the ceiling.
