I just got the bed set up today. It is quite substantial! I love the look and height. I haven’t slept on it yet to review any noises or shifting. I did lay on the bed and it’s a great height with the 7.5” box spring and 12” mattress on it. The tufting is nicely done and the install tracks perfectly with the instructions. I added two additional supports with legs. I think the headboard needs bigger and stronger washers, however the bracket won’t receive anything larger than what is included. The fabric is oatmeal colored (pretty) and there are some flaws in it: a run and a small hole. Neither are overly noticeable, but it would have been nice to have better quality control upfront. Especially since the return policy is so expensive and time consuming. The footboard had a stripped hole for one of the bun feet. As a result I had a carpenter engineer new bun feet and repair the footboard. I’m glad I opted for different feet, but having a stripped fastener added some drama and expense.
