Just laid out rug down a couple days ago. Despite being folded in a box, it laid flat without creases. It is so very soft. Unsure of the durability as we just received it. Be sure to read vacuuming instructions. It is very pretty. This is a true brick red color so do not expect this rug to be too red. We laid it on top of carpet so we didn’t need a pad underneath but if laying on hard floor you would need to do so as it is thin and could easily shift or slide on its own. Love it.
