Softer than I ever could have imagined. With the brown leather couch it makes the entire room so warm!! We just recently moved into a new house and our old rug had been through it. If you’re thinking about it, definitely get it! Especially if it’s on sale like it was when I got it!! I may invest in the runner of this rug for our kitchen as well! I super pleased with colors. The blue is dusty blue/Grey. I've been super pleased with anyone that I've talked to at Birchlane. I'm concerned about the loop pulling out.
