I found this rug for my sister who had completely remodeled her house. She wasn't sure about putting orange in her house, so she didn't buy it. But I loved it, so I decided to get it. The rug is gorgeous. Like others have said, it is slightly lighter than shown, but not pink like some were saying. If it were a true burnt orange, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.. Tricia. Gorgeous, expensive looking rug. It's more on the coral side, maybe light cinnamon...not burnt orange. It matches all the coral, shrimp colored accessories in the room. I love the colors and texture if this rug. It has a nice springy feel underfoot, almost gives your feet a massage when you are barefoot. I had originally planned to put this runner in the entry way to my house but decided it looked better in my kitchen because if the rust colors and texture. The quality of this rug is excellent. The colors are beautiful but slightly off from the description. While it listed a pale rust, the background has a bit of rose. Also, the overall color is slightly muted (in a very nice way). I didn't want the rug overpowering the living room. Even though at first I considered returning it because I wanted a deeper rust or terra color, it's just too beautiful to return. Also, the beige border is two inches wide (slightly wider than pictured). I wouldn't call this a traditional style but more transitional. I've had several friends and family members visiting (varying ages and tastes), and they've all not only liked it but loved it. It's a keeper. Thank goodness. Suitable for all interior residential spaces including but not limited to living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and entryways. The sumptuous texture of the rug pile softens hard surfaces when layered over tile, stone, and hardwood floors. Maintain the rug by vacuuming with suction only, vacuums with beater bars are not recommended, and spills and stains should be treated by a professional cleaner.
