I am very pleased with the light fixture. It is just as I expected. The finish is very interesting. It is mottled and sometimes it looks gray, blue or brown depending on the light and distance from the fixture. It is much darker in person than it appears in the online photos. The only thing I would mention is that the extensions to determine the distance from the table only come in 2 sizes and are too thick to cut. In my case it made the finished height too low for my taste. Other than that it’s great. The issue I have with this purchase is the constant price changing. When I first put this item in my cart it was $637. When I went back to complete my order the fixture had gone up $150. I called to find out why and ask them to honor the original price. The very cavalier customer service person told me their prices change “like the stock market” and they “don’t price adjust”. So I ordered it and the final total was almost $900 instead of $700. The next day it had dropped to $100 more than the original price. I called again and I planned to cancel and reorder but my item had shipped and nothing could/would be done. By the time I paid to return it I would still have been out at least $100-not making it worth it. I think a company should do the right thing and honor the original price.. Suzanne.
