We were very pleasantly surprised when we received our chairs. The color is more on the "oatmeal" side versus a cream, but it worked out great because the fabric on our custom made pillows has that color in it so that fabric compliments the chairs and the pillows fit perfectly to give a little more back support. It sits back a little (I use a back feather cushion in cowhide) and feels a bit stiff when you first sit down. But you sink down in to it and then it’s super comfortable.
