I use this in my car for espresso. I wanted porcelain or china because I don't like drinking out of plastic. The 8 oz size is plenty for espresso, even a double. I wanted the height to be tall enough to easily grab out of the cupholder, but not be top heavy or interfere with the armrests. I also specifically did not want a handle on the cup. My armrests slide forward, it's a little hard to tell in the photo but the top of the cup is lower than the armrest.
