I wouldn’t buy this table if I could go back in time. It scratches way too easily. Our household has no kids and no dogs. Yet two years later, the table looks like it’s been through a lot. It is full of small scratches (and a few deep gouges) despite us being super careful, using placemats and cleaning regularly. Cleaning leaves streaks, and crumbs and dust get stuck in the grooves. I don’t think the table was made with quality materials. The chair fabric stains really easily and accidentally spills are tough to get out . The table functions well and the leaf is easy to take in and out, and the look is nice otherwise. But if I could do it all again, I’d choose something that holds up better under regular careful use..
