Just laid out rug down a couple days ago. Despite being folded in a box, it laid flat without creases. It is so very soft. Unsure of the durability as we just received it. Be sure to read vacuuming instructions. It is very pretty. This is a true brick red color so do not expect this rug to be too red. We laid it on top of carpet so we didn’t need a pad underneath but if laying on hard floor you would need to do so as it is thin and could easily shift or slide on its own. Love it. My Doberman has, at a year and 7 months, managed to destroy 2 previous rugs in my entryway (no where else in the house, and not from potty training).
