The perfect rug for our look of neutrals. We have a large sectional and 48 x 48 coffee table plus two swivel chairs on this 9x12 size so we knew not a lot of room for walking on it, which is OK because it is a little bit harder to the touch (not the type of rug you play with the kids or dogs on - however, our dog loves laying on it! ). Highly recommend the high-quality thicker rug pad underneath as adds a comfort and cushion. It’s a very attractive rug and gets a lot of compliments! This is not in a high traffic area so it doesn't shed as much as it might in another room (since it's sisal). I can easily roll my desk chair over it. I don't use a rug pad and it stays flat.
