My mudroom area is small, and this bench is the perfect size. I thought the bench would be heavier (solid wood) but for my space and use, it will work. I ended up repainting the bench with a thick paint (Benjamin Moore - Vapor) which matched the original color perfectly. The bench was packaged very well and came quickly! Nice bench, some of the paint/stain was missing from front edge where you sit and was kind of an eye sore. The holes for assembling with screws did not all line up very well, and I had trouble fully securing the arm rests. It is solid wood and it really looks like the picture. I cannot recommend this bench. The quality is ok but not great. The slipcover does not fit well, it moves around and looks really sloppy. Not to mention it took over 4 months to arrive. My original ship date was 3 to 4 weeks. Every 2 or so weeks they would delay my delivery date. So what I expected the first week of July arrived mid October.
