My mudroom area is small, and this bench is the perfect size. I thought the bench would be heavier (solid wood) but for my space and use, it will work. I ended up repainting the bench with a thick paint (Benjamin Moore - Vapor) which matched the original color perfectly. The bench was packaged very well and came quickly! The dining bench is beautiful, rustic, very sturdy and can comfortably sit 4 adults. One of the corners was a little damaged on arrival, but I didn't want to bother getting it replaced. The wood is rather soft, so it can dent or chip easily if you are not careful. I would still buy it again and I would recommend it.
