Even on sale this rug was more than I usually spend, but I could feel the difference immediately. This rug is plush, thick and soft. Some reviewers noted that it is darker in the room than the photos show and this is true. I even took photos of the rug in my living room in daylight and at night and the rug totally photographed lighter than it appears in the room. But I LOVE this rug. Brown is my go-to base color (gray is too dreary), and this rug grounds my room in warmth. The subtle colors connect to the red, green and teal elements in my decor.
