ScanCom, the manufacturer, recommends that the table and benches should not require re-oiling until the end of the first season. Within three months of outdoor exposure, the wood on our table is cracking and fading. (See photo). I note that the manufacturer is located in Florida - near sea level and with high humidity. We are in Colorado at 6000 feet where the sun is intense and humidity is very low.
